Mark "Moogy" Klingman was a founding member and keyboard player in Utopia for their first two albums and contributed to most of Todd Rundgren's early solo efforts, including "Something/Anything?" Over the years, he has worked with Bette Midler, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, Buzzy Linhart, and many others. Moogy wrote "Dust In The Wind" as heard on Todd's "Something/Anything" album, and co-wrote"You Gotta Have Friends," a hit for Bette Midler (it's also featured in the movie "Shrek"). Currently, Moogy is playing in his own band, Moogy and the MoJo's, as well as Freak Parade, which reunites Moogy with the original Utopia drummer, Kevin Ellman. |
